Research Associate, Molecular Technology Temporary Position
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Molecular Technology/ Protein production group as a Research Associate. Responsibilities include conducting cell culture and transient and stable transfection, stable clone screening, Elisa and other bioassays for quantitation protein production and characterize the clones. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and interpreting data from implemented assays. Must be meticulous in record keeping, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. degree, in a biological discipline (cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology) and minimum of 2-years work experience in academic or biotechnology industry.
- Experience in transient and stable transfection, clone selection is desiable.
- Skills required include: knowledge of cell culture, cell based bioassays and non-cell based ELISA assays, data analysis, and trouble-shooting.
- Experience in Wave Bioreactor is desirable, but not required.
- Good organization and analytical skills. Effective verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment is a must.
This is a temporary position. The project is expected to last 3 months.
