Research Associate, Cell Biology Temporary Position
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Cell Biology/Pharmacology group as a Research Associate. Responsibilities include conducting cell biology and biochemical assays as well as in vivo animal tumor model study, and developing assays for preclinical sample analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and interpreting data from implemented assays. Must be meticulous in record keeping, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. degree, in a biological discipline (cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or pharmacology) and minimum of 2-years work experience in academic or biotechnology industry.
- Skills required include: knowledge of cell biology assays and biochemical assays for protein and nucleic acid, cell culture, data analysis, and trouble-shooting.
- Willingness to work on mouse tumor model is required. Experience in animal study is desirable, but not required.
- Good organization and analytical skills. Effective verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment is a must.
This is a temporary position. The project is expected to last 3-6 months.
