Project Manager
Receptor BioLogix is a dynamic company focused on the discovery and development of biotherapeutics for cancer and other indications.
We are seeking a Program Manager to develop, coordinate and manage project plans for our major program leading to an IND targeted for mid-2009. This includes the development, tracking and communication of project plans, timelines and budgets; identifying, managing and communicating critical path activities, risks, contingencies and alternatives; communicating and presenting to management, department teams and external groups; and extensive coordination of internal and contracted resources for scientific research, preclinical, biomanufacturing, and IND preparation. This person will be primarily responsible for coordinating and driving all activities necessary to ensure successful and timely achievement of all project milestones, timelines and budgets.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership and management abilities in project and financial planning, execution of plans and protocols, coordination of teams, and identifying and solving problems
- Minimum three years of project management experience
- Extensive knowledge of the drug development process from discovery to clinical testing
- Management and coordination of biologics product development activities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skilled in WORD, Excel and MS Project
- Ability to interface with multiple groups (internal and external) and all levels of staffing
- Successful experience in coordinating outsourced technical, manufacturing, discovery, and quality control, and regulatory activities
- Significant role in projects culminating in at least two accepted US/FDA INDs
- Master of Science plus MBA preferred
